Miles & Miles
Car Rental App
I completed this project in the role of a UI designer as part of my CPD certification accredited by the School of UX.
Background
Miles & Miles is London's oldest independent car rental company. From standard models to luxury options, they offer a wide range of cars to hire to suit all occasions. They are dedicated to provide customers with excellent service and quality vehicles.
My Responsibilities
I was tasked to design a mobile app that specifically caters to customers desiring the convenience of home-delivered luxury car rentals within the London area. The users convenience is the main priority throughout the rental process.

User Journey Mapping
I started by creating a journey map to understand all the necessary steps a user needs to take in order to rent a car.

Low-Fidelity Wireframes
After understanding the car rental journey, I created wireframes to ensure a convenient booking process.

Project Insights
In my opinion, the most critical step of this project was user flow mapping. By focusing on the user journey for the car rental booking process, I was able to gain a deep understanding of the steps required for a seamless user experience. This solidified foundation allowed for the subsequent development of design components and visual elements.
Next Steps
To guarantee a car rental app with an intuitive and efficient booking flow, the next crucial step is conducting usability testing with real users. By observing their interactions and gathering their feedback, I can gain invaluable insights into any pain points within the booking process. As a result, I would make the necessary adjustments to ensure a more user-centric product.
